Join us for the latest installment of Dev Notes, where we take a closer look at the Pick activity introduced in Grooper 25.0.0047.

Pick uses AI to analyze a set of documents and select a single document based on instructions you define. This kind of decision-making previously had no automated path in Grooper — if you needed to identify one document from a set of similar or competing documents, a human operator had to do it manually. Pick changes that by letting you describe what you're looking for and letting the AI make the call, with options to flag the selected document with the AI's reasoning, reclassify it, or run Data Rules against it.

In this session, we'll walk through how Pick works, how to configure it, and explore real-world scenarios where it shines — like identifying the prevailing version of a contract from multiple drafts or surfacing the most relevant document from a set of similar records.

If you've ever had to wrangle competing documents and wished there was a smarter way to sort them out, this session is for you.
