Many of the new features in version 2.90 came directly from client requests. Through their own workflow, they realized something in Grooper could be added or improved upon. Us too!

The features covered in this webinar came directly from our efforts to solve a particularly challenging separation and document classification project.

One of the biggest additions to Grooper 2.90 are changes in Separation and the addition of a Separation Review module. These changes allow both for more configurability when separating of loose pages into document folders. This allowed us to get better automation rates for this project. Furthermore, where 100% automation was not possible, the addition of a Separation Review module allowed us streamline human review of separated and classified documents.

Furthermore, the ability to use confidence multipliers to manipulate an extractor’s confidence score improved existing waterfall extraction techniques to classify documents. We will discuss this and other improvements to data extraction, including feature tagging and new paragraph detection properties.

New features discussed:

  • Changes to Separation options for ESP Separation
  • The new Separation Review module
  • Output Confidence and Confidence Multiplier Result Options for Data Types
  • Feature tagging for better Lexical classification
  • Improvements to Paragraph Detection
